Hi students,

For any exam, first of all we should have strong foundation in basic concepts. And my suggestion is refer your +1 /+2 (NCERT /CBSE) textbooks and that will do. Here we have given a list of some outstanding reference books in different topics of biology that will definitely help you in creating an interest in the subject (the most important thing) and also in your exam preparation. Always read from the very beginning from the introduction onwards to get the real picture in the most interesting way.

• Most books may contain key words, key points, box, summary etc for your convenience
• Try to work out as many problems as possible given at the end of each chapter
• Write down exceptional or important points that may strike your attention
• After each chapter, work out questions from previous question papers related to the topic studied
